Karl G. Johnson

Escendo Corp is led by founder Karl G. Johnson, who has been actively involved with business intelligence for over twenty years. Initially within the chemicals industry with a focus on competitive intelligence and market research implementations, he was presenting advanced analytics applications in the early 90's. After seven years delivering customer and competitive analytics in Europe, Karl was recruited from Sweden to assist in the development of the Oracle business intelligence and data warehousing practice out of Colorado. During this time he was a contributing author in a leading book on Oracle Data Warehousing. Among his work for clients, he assisted MasterCard International with their stock share calculation leading to their eventual IPO.

Karl holds degrees in Economics and German from the University of Colorado and studied at the University of Regensburg in Germany. He speaks several European languages in addition to his native English.

H. Carey Probst

Carey is widely known as one of the world's leading experts on Oracle OLAP technology, with in-depth knowledge of the OLAP engine extending from its earlier days through the 10G and 11G environments. Carey has over thirty years of experience delivering high value solutions to clients and in managing and mentoring technical staff. Carey holds Degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Aeronautics and Astronautics, as well as Management, specializing in Behavioral Sciences. He also holds an MBA from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, with major in Finance and minor in Management Science and Operations Research.

Rodney Jenson

With over twenty years of experience in designing, building, and delivering sophisticated business intelligence applications, Rod brings a deep understanding of how to translate customers' needs into a robust technical solution. Rod's extensive project history has given him in-depth knowledge and experience implementing systems across many industries, including insurance, finance, manufacturing, retail, utilities and telecommunications. These skills are put to great use ensuring that Escendo Analytics meets the needs of our customers today and for many years to come.

Rod holds a degree in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Hartford.

Ulla-Carin Johnson

Ulla-Carin is responsible for operational areas of Finance, Human Resources, Infrastructure and facilities. She has over twenty years of experience in the analysis and reporting of business results for multinational organizations with production and sales organizations covering global markets. Her previous experience includes roles as Controller, Marketing Controller, and Market Researcher across several industries including financial services, medical devices, paper and chemicals industries. She has extensive experience managing groups analyzing and reporting business information including profitability, production and sales analysis. She has also worked several years in the field of industrial marketing research both as internal analyst and independent consultant for various US and European companies.

Ulla-Carin holds a degree in Economics from the University of Linkoping with an emphasis on international marketing. Besides her native Swedish Ulla-Carin speaks English, German, Dutch and French.
